Welcome to the Moving Slideshow Widget by Muse For You
The Moving Slideshow Widget allows you to add a unique slideshow to your Adobe Muse website. The images move within the slideshow and you can choose from 11 different movement effects. The effects are similar to what many call the "Ken Burns Effect." You can have multiple slideshows on one page and set the slideshow to 100% width. Here are the following movement options:
Each slideshow can have up to 12 images.
You can set the slideshow to 100% width by going to "Resize" in Adobe Muse and selecting "Stretch to Browser Width."
For each new slideshow change the instance number. Each slideshow can have from 1 to 12 images.
Here you can set the options for the slideshow. The effect modifier controls the speed and intensity of the movement effect. 1 is no movement and 2 is maximum movement. You can also enable or disable navigation and captions from the slideshow. If the "Match Image Size" option is checked it will set a maximum size for all of the images based on the image size. If this option is not checked the images width can be greater than the image allowing for the images to be scaled.
Each image can have a caption. Here you can control the caption styling.
Here you can change the colors of the previous and next navigation buttons for the slideshow.
Here you can change the styling of the dot navigation for the slideshow.
For each image you can set an alternative text, add a link, and open the link in a new page. The alternative text will also be the caption text for the image. Alternative text allows search engines to know what the image is about and is a good SEO practice. It also lets users know what the image is about on screen readers.
You can link images to an internal link, external link, or anchor points.
Linking Menu Items:
Anchor Point Example - #anchor
Type in # and then the name of the anchor.
Internal Page Example - ./index.html
Type in ./ then the name of the page. Enter the page name in all lower case with no spaces. If there is a space in the page name enter in a dash (-) for the space. The home page is always going to be ./index.html.
External Page Example - http://museforyoushop.com
For external pages simply enter in the url of the external page.
I've used the following images, icons or other files as listed.
Once again, thank you so much for purchasing this widget. I'd be glad to help you if you have any questions relating to this widget. If you have a more general question relating to this widget, you might consider visiting the forums and asking your question in the "Item Discussion" section.
