Part II -- Loading the Brush ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This action requires the Atomic Cupcake Dot Brush be loaded. You can leave it loaded so you only have to do this once. IT'S THE SAME BRUSH USED FOR THE STITCHEDEDGE ACTION. 1. Open the brushes window (from the menu: Window>>Brushes) 2. Click on the triangle in the top corner and choose "load brushes". Open the file "AtomicCupcakeDotBrush.abr" from the location you chose in Part I, step 1. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part III -- Using the Action 1. Open a file and choose the layer you want to use for the shape of the stitching. The item in the layer should be at least 600 pixels tall and wide (each letter in text should be this big.) 2. Select a color with your color picker. The action will use this for the stitch color. 3. Click on the name of the action (not the action folder) in the Actions palette "atomic_cupcake_stitchmessy" 3. Press play. (The triangle button at the bottom.) The stitches will be created in a new document -- leaving your original paper or photo in it's original condition. To make long, single rows of stitches, make a document larger than 12" with a layer containing a rectangle. (Or other long shape.) Then erase the extra stitches.
