summary
After more than 30 years of service, Navy pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Tom Cruise) is still pushing the limits as a test pilot, avoiding promotions that would ground him. He is called back to Top Gun to train a new generation of elite pilots for a dangerous mission, including Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of his late best friend, Goose. Maverick must confront his past while preparing the pilots for a nearly impossible mission.
